Rooster Teeth's mecha anime series gen:LOCK continues to pull in the star names with today's addition of Maisie Williams (Game Of Thrones, Doctor Who) to the cast. Maisie joins previously announced cast members Michael B Jordan, Dakota Fanning and David Tennant and will voice the role of Cammie MacCloud, a mischevious Scottish hacker and the youngest recruit to the gen:LOCK programme.
Set in a dystopian future where conflict is
settled by battles using giant weaponised robotic armour, gen:LOCK centres on Earth’s last
free society which is on the losing side of a global war. David Tennant and Jennifer Garner star as unhappily married couple Walt and Kathryn, in the new comedy series Camping, coming to HBO in the USA next month. Based on the UK show of the same name created by Julia Davis, Camping was developed by Jenni Konner and Lena Dunham, the team behind Girls. The series comprises eight half-hour episodes and launches on Sunday 14th October at 10pm ET/PT on HBO.

The Disney Channel have announced that DuckTales has secured a third season prior to the premiere of season two on 20 October.
The rebooted 1980s show stars David Tennant in the iconic role of Scrooge McDuck, with Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan voicing the mischievous triplets Huey, Dewey and Louie. The cast also includes Kate Micucci as Webby, Toks Olagundoye as Mrs Beakley, Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack and Tony Anselmo as Donald Duck.

Stephen Mangan's hit comedy series Hang Ups is coming to Canada next week with the season premiere on CBC on Tuesday 18th September at 8.30pm ET/PT. Based on the American series Web Therapy created by Lisa Kudrow, Hang Up was developed by Robert Delamere and Stephen Mangan, who also stars as Richard Pitt. The show centres on Pitt, an unconventional therapist with a complicated family, whose life and work we follow through a series of webcam conversations with clients, family and friends.
The improvised show boasts a starry cast, which includes Richard E Grant, Celia Imrie, Katherine Parkinson, Karl Theobald, Charles Dance and Jessica Hynes, as well as cameos by Sarah Hadland, Lolly Adefope, Kevin Eldon, Ian Hart and many more. David Tennant appears as Martin Lamb, a restaurant cloakroom attendant with difficulties in social interaction, and will feature in episode two on Tuesday 25th September.

Dean Devlin's nail-biting thriller Bad Samaritan will be available on VOD in France from Thursday 27th September. David Tennant stars in one of his scariest roles to date as the psychopathic Cale Erendreich, alongside Misfits star Robert Sheehan as petty thief Sean Falco.
Bad Samaritan follows a pair of parking valets with a successful sideline in burglary who make he mistake of targeting the wrong house. They discover that the owner has a young woman imprisoned in the office, but after they botch her rescue, they find themselves with an implacable serial killer on their tails. The movie was written by Brandon Boyce and directed by Devlin, who also produced through his own company Electric Entertainment. French distribution will be handled by Ace Entertainment.
