David Tennant To Star In Love Virtually Sequel

The translators of the novel Love Virtually, which was adapted into a BBC audioplay starring David Tennant and Emilia Fox, have tweeted today that David will be starring in an adaptation of the novel's sequel.

The dramatised version of Love Virtually by Austrian writer Daniel Glattauer was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 last March with David Tennant and Emilia Fox as Leo and Emmi, a couple who meet accidently on the internet and fall in love without ever meeting.. The sequel, Every Seventh Wave, which is published by Quercus Books on 31st January, picks up their relationship as Leo returns from working in Boston.

The @LoveVirtually Twitter account today tweeted:

“David Tennant fans will be delighted to hear he's reprising the role of Leo Leike in "Every Seventh Wave". Coming soon to Radio 4.”

They also suggested in an earlier tweet that Emilia Fox would also be involved again.

The BBC have yet to confirm the production and the casting, and there is no information yet about a possible broadcast date.
