Richard II is the first production in a new cycle of
Shakespeare's History plays, directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran,
that will be performed over the coming seasons.
David Tennant plays the title role and is joined in the company by Oliver Ford Davies, who also appeared with him in the acclaimed 2008 Hamlet.
Richard II will transfer to the Barbican Theatre, London, from 9 December 2013 to 25 January 2014.
