With the news that Sir Alex Ferguson has retired from his manager's position at Manchester United today UK bookmakers Paddy Power have been taking bets on who would play him in a biographical film of his life, with David Tennant favourite at 6/1. Other actors they place in the frame include James McAvoy and Michael Sheen.
The film must be produced before 2020 and be released in UK or US cinemas for the bet to be valid.
There are no known plans for a biopic so place your bets cautiously!
