Broadchurch heading For New Zealand In 2014

ITV's acclaimed drama series Broadchurch will be screened on TV in New Zealand early in 2014.

The eight part series, created by Chris Chibnall and starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Arthur Darvill will air on TVONE early next year as part of the channel's new season. Dates have yet to be confirmed.

Broadchurch  explores the impact of the brutal murder of a schoolboy on a small seaside community. David Tennant and Olivia Colman star as police detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller who must solve the mystery as, around them, the town is torn apart by suspicion and fear. Arthur Darvill co-stars as the town's vicar, Paul Caotes, with Andrew Buchan and Jodie Whittaker as Mark and Beth Latimer, the parents of the murdered boy.
