BBC America have released details about the next in their monthly series of specials exploring each incarnation of the Doctor. July's edition of Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited takes a look at the Seventh Doctor played by Sylvester McCoy. David Tennant has appeared in all but one of the specials so far.

McCoy (The Hobbit) played the part from 1987 to 1989 but reprised the role in Doctor Who: The Movie in 1996. The
special begins with Sylvester McCoy,
lead writer and executive producer Steven
Moffat, Seventh Doctor companions Sophie
Aldred (Ace) and Bonnie
Langford (Mel Bush), among others, examining the darker side of the
Seventh Doctor, viewing some of his surreal adventures and discussing his most
scientific foe, The Rani. The special is followed by the Seventh Doctor story Remembrance of the Daleks, in which the
Doctor and his companion Ace arrive in 1960s London, where they are caught up
in a fierce battle on Earth between two violently opposing factions of Daleks,
who will stop at nothing to destroy one another.
