David Tennant Scenes Feature Twice In TV's Top Ten Moments



Two of David Tennant's unforgettable TV scenes have featured in a new survey of UK TV's most memorable dramatic moments. The survey, conducted to mark the launch of new UKTV channel Drama, which starts broadcasting on Monday 8th July, was topped by the iconic moment of Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy emerging from a lake in the 1995 adaptation of Pride And Prejudice





The thrilling reveal of Danny Latimer's killer in this year's hit series Broadchurch was voted into fifth place. Just below came the emotional farewell of the Tenth Doctor as David handed over the Doctor Who baton to Matt Smith in the 2010 regeneration scene. Other notable entries include Dirty Den Watts serving divorce papers on wife Angie during the 1986 Christmas Day episode of Eastenders and Zammo turning to heroin in Grange Hill (1987).
