USA Today have declared Broadchurch the high point of US programming this summer and autumn in their preview for tonight's installment. Episode 3 of the crime drama, starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Arthur Darvill, airs tonight on BBC America. USA Today say:

The best new show of the summer and, for that matter, the
upcoming fall hits a pivotal point tonight, as a new suspect forces Ellie to
confront the possibility that she may not know Broadchurch and its residents as
well as she thinks she does. As for what her boss Alec thinks about their town,
that opinion is revealed in one of the show's funnier and more informative
rants. Suffice it to say, he hates everything about it, from the people to the
sand. Any fan of good writing, good acting, and flat-out great TV, on the other
hand, almost certainly will not agree. This is a wonderful series that only
gets more involving and emotionally wrenching as it goes along -- so come along.
