Hulu Adds Doctor Who And Other David Tennant Shows To Its Subscription Service



Online US video service Hulu have just added BBC Worldwide titles to their Hulu Plus subscription service. The new offering includes a number of David Tennant programmes

The Doctor Who, Science Fiction and Adventure package launches today and The new additions include both modern and classic episodes of Doctor Who plus the spin-off shows Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Other shows include Life On Mars, Primeval, Red Dwarf and The Fades.

On Sept. 24 the Dramas and Masterpiece Classics collection launches, including the early David Tennant period drama He Knew He Was Right as well as Sherlock, Luther and Upstairs Downstairs.

The Comedies collection launches on October 1st and includes spoof Olympics documentary series Twenty Twelve which was narrated by David Tennant and starred Olivia Colman and Hugh Bonneville. There will also be classics like The Young Ones, Blackadder and Fawlty Towers.

In all Hulu Plus subscribers will have access to more than 2,000 episodes of new and landmark BBC Worldwide titles. A selection of BBC Worldwide library programs will rotate through the free Hulu.com service.
