The first photos have now been released of David Tennant in full costume as King Richard in the new Royal Shakespeare Company production of Richard II by William Shakespeare. The play, directed by Gregory Doran, enjoys its opening night tonight at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon following a week of previews.
The play remains in Stratford until the 16th November and will then transfer to the Barbican in London from the 9th December till the 25th January 2014.
