"Completely different and yet weirdly familiar," says David Tennant of his return to the role of the Tenth Doctor in the 50th Anniversary special
David was talking to Lizo Mzimba for a behind-the-scenes feature on Doctor Who: The Day Of The Doctor which has now been posted onto the BBC Breakfast website. The clip features interviews with Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman and John Hurt as well as David, plus some on-set footage. There is also an unseen clip from the celebratory episode featuring David and a furry friend.

The Doctors embark on their greatest adventure in this 50th
anniversary special. In 2013, something terrible is awakening in London ’s National
Gallery; in 1562, a murderous plot is afoot in Elizabethan England; and
somewhere in space, an ancient battle reaches its devastating conclusion. All
of reality is at stake as the Doctor’s own dangerous past comes back to haunt
him.
The Day Of The Doctor airs on BBC One at 7.50pm and on BBC
America at 2.50pm ET on Saturday 23rd November. It will be simulcast worldwide
and will be screened in cinemas across the globe.
