Spies Of Warsaw starring David Tennant is now available via BBC iPlayer in Australia.

A thrilling story of love and espionage set in pre-war Poland, Paris, London and Berlin, Spies Of Warsaw is adapted from the novels of Alan Furst by Dick Clement and Ian la Frenais. David Tennant stars as Jean-Francois Mercier, a French war hero based in Warsaw. The series was originally broadcast as two 90-minute episodes on BBC Four in January 2013 and was shown on UKTV in Australia last year.

French and German intelligence operatives are locked in a life-and-death struggle on the espionage battlefield.
At the French embassy, the new military attaché, Colonel Jean-Francois Mercier (David Tennant), a decorated war hero of the 1914 war, is drawn into a world of abduction, betrayal and intrigue in the diplomatic salons and back alleys of Warsaw.
At the same time, the handsome aristocrat finds himself in a passionate love affair with Anna (Janet Montgomery), a Parisian lawyer for the League of Nations. Their complicated love affair intensifies as German tanks drive through the Black Forest.

Spies Of Warsaw also stars Marcin Dorocinsky, Burn Gorman and Anton Lesser. It was shot wholly on location in Poland.
