David Tennant Tops Wales Online Doctor Who Poll



David Tennant has come out top in a poll to determine the Greatest Doctor in Doctor Who. Readers of Wales Online have been voting since Saturday ahead of Peter Capaldi's first episode on Saturday 23rd to decide their favourite of his predecessors. 

The results are now in and the Tenth Doctor ranks first, with and average vote of 8.8 out of 10. Tom Baker, the Fourth Doctor, came in second at 7.7 out of 10 with David's successor Matt Smith in third place with 7.3. John Hurt, who made a one-off guest appearance as the War Doctor in The Day Of the Doctor for the 50th Anniversary came in at joint fifth, tied with Jon Pertwee. Lowest placed were Peter Davison (5.7) followed by Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker (both 5.1).
