Michael Peña On Gracepoint: "Anyone Can Be The Killer"

Michael Peña, who plays Mark Solano in Gracepoint has spoken to HitFix on the whodunnit element of the ten part event series and his own reaction to finally discovering the killer of his on-screen son Danny. The outcome was a secret that was even kept from the cast and crew as they filmed in Canada earlier this year.

Michael found it hard to explain his response to the big reveal without giving anything away. "I can't answer that," he said at first, before finally offering, "It was surprising. I'll tell you that. No matter who it was, it's going to be surprising"

"It made perfect sense," he added. "Literally they set it up so that anyone can be the killer - anyone - and that's what makes it, I think, exciting, and it makes you feel like you're the detective."

Is there more Gracepoint to come, he was asked. "Hopefully there's a second season...I don't know what it would be, maybe the trial or something like that."

"I hope people like it, I hope that there's forums and stuff of who they think did it" he concluded.
