Gracepoint is a ten episode event series coming soon to Fox TV. Based on the award winning UK series Broadchurch the drama follows events in a small town following the murder of a local boy. David Tennant reprises his Broadchurch role as lead investigator, now an American detective called Emmett Carver. He is joined by an impressive ensemble cast including Anna Gunn, Nick Nolte, Jacki Weaver and Michael Peña. Original series creator Chris Chibnall is among the writing and executive producing teams. Although Gracepoint starts out identically to the original the plots will soon diverge and Gracepoint will have a different ending.
Gracepoint
premieres on Fox TV in the USA and the Global Network in Canada on Thursday 2nd
October at 9pm ET, and on the Universal Channel in Australia on Friday 3rd
October. UK details are yet to be confirmed.
