Twenty-Four Hours Left To Bid For A Script Signed By David Tennant & Other Celebrity Items

There’s just over twenty-four hours left to bid for a Broadchurch episode 8 script signed by David Tennant in the Anno’s Africa Celebrity Auction. The event, which has been running since September 4th, is packed full of amazing one-off items donated by actors, musicians, producers and writers including Benedict Cumberbatch, Stephen Fry, Luke Pasqualino, Joanna Lumley, Aidan Turner and Milla Jovovich.

It’s all to support Anno's Africa, a charitable organisation which aims to offer an alternative arts education to orphans and vulnerable children in Africa’s city slums. Every year the charity provides an eight-week programme of workshops in the Nairobi slums of Kibera and Mathare, covering art, drama, music, dance, creative writing and circus skills. The workshops not only give children the chance to experience play and creative opportunities that they might otherwise miss out on, they also teach valuable life skills and build confidence to give more opportunities of finding work in the future. The charity was set up in memory of Anno Birkin, the son of photographer Bee Gilbert and screenwriter Andrew Birkin, a gifted writer and musician who died in a car crash in 2001, one month short of his 21st birthday.
