USA & CANADA: Catch Up With Gracepoint This Saturday

TV viewers in the USA and Canada are being offered the chance to catch up with the first two episodes of the thrilling FOX TV event series Gracepoint. The first two episodes will be repeated on Fox in the USA and on Global in Canada from 8pm ET on Saturday 18th October.

In the ten-part drama David Tennant and Anna Gunn star as Detectives Emmett Carver and Ellie Miller who are leading the hunt for the killer of a young boy in a small town. The series also focuses on the effect that the crime has on the community, and how grief, fear and suspicion threaten to tear the town of Gracepoint apart.

Gracepoint is based on the original UK series Broadchurch which also starred David Tennant. However the producers and cast have stated that there are new plot twists and suspects and a different ending.

Gracepoint
Episode 1, FOX (USA), Global (Canada), 8.00pm ET
A young boy, Danny Solano, is found dead on an idyllic beach in the small seaside town of Gracepoint, spurring a major investigation lead by Detective Emmett Carver (David Tennant), who has just arrived in Gracepoint to fill a high position in the town’s police force. That job previously had been promised to Detective Ellie Miller (Anna Gunn), who, in light of the tragedy, must put any resentment aside and work the case with her prickly new boss. Danny’s parents Mark (Michael Peña) and Beth Solano (Virginia Kull), and his older sister, Chloe (Madalyn Horcher) are devastated by the news, which carves a powerfully dark wake through the town as friends become suspects.

Episode 2, FOX (USA), Global (Canada), 9.00pm ET
The Solano family continues to grieve in the wake of their son’s death. The detectives find disturbing evidence in Chloe’s room, while Mark gets caught in a lie of his own. Beth confides in her old friend, Paul Coates (Kevin Rankin), now the town minister.
