What We Did On Our Holiday Passes £3 Million At UK Box Office

The BBC Films black comedy What We Did on Our Holiday enjoyed another successful weekend in UK cinemas earning £223,516 ($361,000) to bring its gross up to £3.4 million ($5.5m). The film is distributed by Lionsgate UK and went on general release on Friday 26th September.

In the first big screen production by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, the creators of the BBC sitcom Outnumbered, David Tennant and Rosamund Pike star as Doug and Abi McLeod, a couple going through a difficult divorce. When they are called upon to attend a 75th birthday party for Doug's eccentric father Gordie (Billy Connolly) back in Scotland, they need their three children to keep their split a secret so they don't spoil the day. But when the unexpected happens can the whole family put their differences aside and work together?

As we posted last month, the film is now available to pre-order on DVD and Blu-ray, release date to be confirmed
