Jenna Coleman Names David Tennant & Tom Baker As Her Favourite Doctors

Jenna Coleman, who plays the Twelfth Doctor's current companion has named her favourite incarnations of the Doctor and surprisingly they are neither of her regular co-stars. When the question was put to her by Radio Times she took the diplomatic route and instead chose two of the Time Lord's earlier faces: David Tennant and Tom Baker.

"I worked with them both, too!" she said, referring to the 50th Anniversary special The Day Of The Doctor. "Well, I never got to work with Tom Baker, but I was on set with him. Me and Steven [Moffat] came in to watch his scenes."

However she refused to choose between Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi. To see what she had to say about them, visit the Radio Times site here.

Jenna will next be seen as Clara Oswald in the Doctor Who Christmas Day Special, with Peter Capaldi and Nick Frost.

This Sunday Doctor Who celebrates its 51st anniversary.
