PHOTOS: David Tennant Attends The Nativity 2 Premiere - November 2012 #ThrowbackThursday

Two years ago today, David Tennant attended the world premiere of Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger at the Empire Leicester Square in London. The premiere was also attended by the film's creator and director Debbie Isitt and David's co-stars Marc Wootton, Jessica Hynes, Joanna Page, Ian McNeice, Jason Watkins and Ben Wilby, along with many of the talented young performers who made up the cast.

The heart-warming festive comedy was filmed on location in North Wales and Warwickshire in late autumn 2012. The improvised plot followed the children and teachers of St, Bernadette's Primary School in Coventry as they embarked on a madcap journey into Wales to compete in a Song For Christmas competition and saw Marc Wootton reprise his role as anarchic teaching assistant Mr.Poppy from the first film. David played a dual role as stressed teacher Donald Peterson and his twin Roderick, an award-winning composer and conductor.

The festive red carpet was decorated with Christmas trees, giant presents and candy canes and also featured the choir from the Bluecoat School in Coventry performing some Yuletide classics. David had taken time out from the shoot of the first series of Broadchurch in the West Country to be there.
