Late last month David Tennant was nominated on the longlist for a People's Choice Award for Best Actor In A New TV Series his role as Emmett Carver in the FOX event series Gracepoint.
The American awards are voted for by the public and recognise popular culture over a vast selection of 54 categories within the genres of TV, Movie, Music and "Special".
Today the top five in each category will become the official nominees and will be announced during the annual People’s Choice Awards Press Conference at 9:00am PT at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. You can watch the press conference on PeoplesChoice.com
Gracepoint continues on Fox in the USA and Global in Canada on Thursday 6th November at 9pm ET.
It also airs at 8.30pm on Friday 7th November on the Universal Channel in Australia.
