UK: Watch Broadchurch Again On ITV Encore From Tonight

Sky TV viewers in the UK will have another chance to remind themselves of the events of the triple BAFTA-winning ITV series Broadchurch before the new series starts in the new year. ITV Encore will be re-running the whole eight-part drama on Monday nights starting from tonight.

Out-of-town DI Alec Hardy (David Tennant) investigates the mysterious death of an 11-year-old boy in a close knit seaside town. Hardy is aided by a local policewoman, DS Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman), who must put her own resentment aside after newcomer Hardy stepped into the job that she had been promised. Meanwhile, the enormity of losing their child consumes Beth and Mark Latimer (Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan) as they and the rest of Broadchurch must also deal with the media frenzy surrounding the case.

Watch Broadchurch Episode 1 tonight from 9pm GMT. There is an early hours repeat later on at 12.10am.

ITV Encore is exclusive to Sky TV subscribers in the UK. It gives viewers the chance to enjoy some of the best recent ITV shows, whether they are all-time favourites or programmes missed the first time round.

The second series of Broadchurch sees the return of many of the first series cast, including David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Arthur Darvill. They will be joined by a host of new faces, including Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Eve Myles, James D'Arcy and Charlotte Rampling. The series is due to begin early in 2015.
