VIDEO: David Tennant Wins BAFTA Scotland Best Actor Award



David Tennant won the Television Actor award at the 2014 BAFTA Scotland Awards tonight.

David was nominated for his role as barrister Will Burton on the BBC TV drama The Escape Artist, written by David Wolstencroft. Also in the category were Douglas Henshall for Shetland and Mark Bonnar for Line Of Duty.

David attended the event with his father Sandy McDonald. During his acceptance speech he thanked absent writer Wolstencroft as well as his fellow cast, the producer and director of The Escape Artist and his family.
