ITV have released a pair of short teaser trailers for the new series of Broadchurch.
The second series of the BAFTA winning drama will return to TV screens early in 2015. The show sees the return of many of the cast of series one, including David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Arthur Darvill and Joe Sims. They will be joined by new characters played by Charlotte Rampling, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Eve Myles, James D'Arcy, Phoebe Waller-bridge and Meera Syal. As before, plot details have been kept a close secret by show creator Chris Chibnall.
The ads, featuring music by Olafur Arnalds, show seascapes moving towards the iconic cliffs under which the body of young Danny Latimer was found at the beginning of series one, and ending with the tagline The End Is Where It Begins. The phrase seems to suggest that the drama picks up soon after where we left the inhabitants of the small Dorset town.
