GRACEPOINT: Huge Viewer Percentage Increase Across 7 Days For Episode 7

The weekly US TV ratings are in at last for the week ending 16th November, which includes Episode 7 of the FOX TV drama Gracepoint. The episode showed a huge percentage gain in viewers catching up with the show in the seven days following initial broadcast.

Episode 7 of Gracepoint rated 0.8/2 in the overnights among adults aged 18-49 but the Live +7 figures show a gain of 75% catching up via DVR, raising the rating to 1.4. The episode showed the 15th highest percentage increase among scripted broadcast shows that week. Most of the gain seems to have come in the first part of the week: the Live +3 ratings showed a rise of 63% to 1.3.

Gracepoint follows events in a Northern Californian town after a young local boy is found murdered. David Tennant and Anna Gunn star as the detectives leading the investigation. Gracepoint is a remake of the award winning UK drama Broadchurch which also starred David Tennant in an equivalent role.

Episode 7 of Gracepoint involved the greatest plot diversion from the original series so far

The series returns following the Thanksgiving break on Thursday 4th December at 9pm ET on FOX in the USA and on Global in Canada, and on Friday 5th December at 8.30pm on the Universal Channel in Canada.
