Episode 9 of FOX TV limited series Gracepoint showed an encouraging jump in overnight US TV ratings last night. The murder mystery starring David Tennant and Anna Gunn has been dragging in the ratings, but now more viewers seem to be tuning in live to catch the final couple of chapters of this gripping show.
Gracepoint enjoyed a 29% in adults 18-49 compared to this time last week in the final Live +0 ratings, rising from last Thursday's 0.7/2 to 0.9/3 and 3.61 million tuning in. Producers of the show will no doubt be hoping that the gains hold for next week's finale. The show has also been performing well in catch up viewings.
However, there is already speculation that the increases are too little too late and the American remake of UK hit series Broadchurch will not return for a second season. FOX have yet to make a formal announcement about the show's future.
Watch the Gracepoint finale on Thursday 11th December at 9pm ET on FOX in the USA and on Global in Canada and on Friday 12th December at 8.30pm on the Universal Channel in Australia.
