The first season of the award winning UK drama Broadchurch is available to Netflix subscribers in The Netherlands from today.
In the eight part drama, David Tennant and Olivia Colman play police detectives hunting for the killer of a young boy in a small town. When the body of eleven-year old Danny Latimer is found below cliffs near the small West Country resort of Broadchurch, a murder investigation is launched led by newcomer DI Alec Hardy (David Tennant) and local officer DS Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman). While Danny's family struggle to overcome his loss, the community is torn apart under the focus of scrutiny by the police and press. What's more, everybody in the small town seems to have something to hide.
Broadchurch is created by Chris Chibnall and produced for ITV by Kudos and Imaginary Friends

The second season of Broadchurch is due to begin on ITV in January 2015 with many original cast members returning.
