AUSTRALIA: Second Series Of Broadchurch To Air On ABC In February

ABC TV in Australia have confirmed that the second series of the award-winning UK drama Broadchurch will premiere in February.

No start date has been announced yet.

The series sees the return of many familiar characters from the riveting mystery series which followed the hunt for the killer of a young boy in a small coastal town and the impact of the crime on his family and the community. David Tennant and Olivia Colman return as Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller as the story picks up a few months after the shocking discovery of the killer's identity. Also returning are Jodie Whittaker, Andre Buchan and Arthur Darvill, and new cast additions include Eve Myles, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Charlotte Rampling and James D'Arcy. The plot has been kept under such a veil of secrecy that not even the cast themselves have been permitted to watch the final version.

The new series of Broadchurch is currently airing in the UK, Ireland and Norway, with premieres in New Zealand and Canada on Sunday, and in the USA on 4th March.
