AUSTRALIA: What We Did On Our Holiday Goes On General Release In Cinemas In February

The hilarious black comedy starring David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly, What We Did On Our Holiday, will go on general release in cinemas throughout Australia from Thursday 12th February.

David stars as Doug McLeod, a Scot living in London who is going through an acrimonious divorce from wife Abi (Rosamund Pike). They make the decision to put their differences aside to take a trip to Scotland with their three young children to celebrate the 75th birthday of Doug's father Gordie (Billy Connolly). As Gordie is unwell, they want to keep news of their separation from him but it's soon clear that when it comes to keeping a secret under wraps from the rest of the family, their children are their biggest liability...

What We Did On Our Holiday is written and directed by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, the creators of the UK sitcom Outnumbered. The film also stars Ben Miller, Amelia Bullmore and Celia Imrie, with Emilia Jones, Bobby Smalldridge and Harriet Turnbull as the McLeod children.

What We Did On Our Holiday previously had a limited release in Palace Cinemas in Australia during November 2014 as part of the Emirates British Film Festival. It was originally released in UK cinemas in late September.
