David Tennant Wins People's Choice Award For Gracepoint Role

Last night it was revealed that David Tennant was the winner for the People's Choice Award for Favourite Actor In A New TV Series for his role as Emmett Carver in the Fox Event Series Gracepoint.
The American awards are voted for by the public with fans being allowed to cast as many votes as they like for their favourite candidate. They recognise popular culture over a vast selection of 54 categories within the genres of TV, Movie, Music and "Special".
David, who did not attend the ceremony in LA, was not announced as a winner during the awards as there are so many categories.
