Episode 3 Of Broadchurch Sees A Small Drop In Viewers

The third episode of the new series of Broadchurch saw a slight drop in viewers when it aired on ITV at 9pm last night. 5.66 million tuned in to see the latest installment of the BAFTA winning drama, with it narrowly missing out on topping the 9pm slot to BBC One's Silent Witness which pulled in 5.87 million.

Coronation Street was the night's big winner with an average of 8.82 million watching a coach crash involving several main characters.

An increase in viewers is expected when the consolidated figures are released.

Broadchurch continues on Monday 26th January at 9pm on ITV and 10pm on TV3.
