NEW ZEALAND: Broadchurch Returns - Season 2 Premiere On Sunday 11th January

The second season of Broadchurch will premiere on TV ONE in New Zealand on Sunday 11th January at 8.35pm.

David Tennant and Olivia Colman return as Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller in the multi-BAFTA winning UK drama. The small coastal town of Broadchurch is still recovering from the horrific murder of young Danny Latimer and the shocking reveal of his killer's identity. However, despite their own personal issues, cops Hardy and Miller are still in town and there are yet more secrets to be uncovered. Also returning are Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Joe Sims and Arthur Darvill, and new cast members include Charlotte Rampling, Eve Myles, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and James D'Arcy. 

Though little is known about the plot, series creator Chris Chibnall has promised that it does not start with the discovery of a body and the new season will go in a very different direction. All will be made clear, he explains, in the first 15 minutes or so of episode one.
