PRESS REVIEWS: Broadchurch Series 2 Episode 4



Below is a round up of press reviews of last night's episode of Broadchurch which saw Ellie struggle to control her sister Lucy amid family tensions, Alec confront his demons, and Mark Latimer make a decision.

The Independent says "David Tennant and Olivia Colman are hard to fault as incongruent police partners DI Hardy and DS Miller"

The Telegraph want to know if Hardy has been sleeping with Claire.

EntertainmentWise look at the shock new twist in the Danny Latimer trial

The Radio Times says "Broadchurch is back on track"

Forbes says "Now Two Compelling Stories Collide"

The Daily Express looks at the reaction to the episode using twitter

The Mirror  say "Broadchurch still has me hooked despite the backlash from the nit-picking brigade"

The Huffington Post still aren't enjoying the series though they are pleased to see Pauline Quirke return to her role as Susan Wright.

The Guardian are rather damning with their claim that the return of Vince the dog was the best part of the episode.

And The Metro are also slightly negative in their review but do add "The back-and-forth banter between Colman and Tennant is at its usual high level"
