David Tennant has been spotted on the set of Mary Queen Of Scots for the first time. Get Surrey took a sneaky snap of David, in make up, a long wig and full beard as he got ready to film scenes for the epic new Royal drama in Albury late last week.
The film, directed by Josie Rourke, follows the early life of Mary Stuart, played by Saoirse Ronan, and her relationship with Elizabeth I (Margot Robbie), her rival in power and love. Both were female regents in a male world; Mary, who became Queen of Scotland when six days old and Queen of France aged 16, was seen as a threat to Elizabeth's sovereignty when she mounted a claim to the English throne.
Other cast include Jack Lowden, Joe Alwyn, Gemma Chan, Martin Compston, Ismael Cordova, Brendan Coyle, Ian Hart, Adrian Lester, James McArdle and Guy Pearce. The film, a Working Title production, is currently shooting in locations across England and Scotland.
Last month Focus Features confirmed that the film will receive a limited release i…

The issue features interviews with David, Billie Piper (Rose Tyler) and Camille Coduri (Jackie Tyler) who have teamed up for a series of new Tenth Doctor audio adventures with Big Finish.
The three part set opens with Attack of the Zaross by John Dorney, in which an alien invasion of Earth isn’t quite what it appears to be.
In the second adventure, Sword of the Chevalier by Guy Adams, the Doctor and Rose arrive in Slough in 1791 and encounter Chevalier D’Eon, an enigmatic ex-spy who has lived his life as a woman. Together they must fend off alien slavers, who have come to Earth to abduct valuable humans.
Finally, in Cold Vengeance by Matt Fitton, the TARDIS arrives on Coldstar, a vast frozen food asteroid in deep space. But there is something sinister defrosting in the network of storage units… the Doctor’s old enemies the Ice Warriors!

W1A is the creation of writer and director John Morton and is set in the BBC, although it is said to be a satire on all labyrinthine management structures.
