UK: Spoof Documentary W1A Narrated By David Tennant Repeated From Next Week

Last year's comedy hit W1A starring Hugh Bonneville and narrated by David Tennant will be repeated from next week on BBC Two in the UK.

Written and directed by John Morton, W1A is the follow-up to the award winning Olympic Games- themed spoof Twenty Twelve. The four-episode series follows Ian Fletcher (Hugh Bonneville), the former head of the Olympic Deliverance Committee, as he takes up a new role in the BBC. Also returning is Jessica Hynes as the exasperating PR guru Siobhan Sharpe. They are joined by a star-studded cast which includes Jason Watkins, Sarah Parish, Nina Sosanya, Monica Dolan and Hugh Skinner, and the fly-on-the wall style is complemented by a dry commentary from David Tennant. Look out too for guest appearances from Salman Rushdie, Carol Vorderman and Claire Balding, while Olivia Colman makes a cameo as Ian's former PA and love interest Sally.

W1A repeats from Tuesday 6th January at 10pm on BBC Two, with episode 2 at the same time on Wednesday 7th. The second pair of episodes will air on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th January.

A second series of W1A goes into production soon for broadcast later this year, comprising of an hour long episode followed by three of 30 minutes.
