VIDEO: First Look At Marvel's Netflix Series As Daredevil Trailer Is Released

There may be a while to wait before we see David Tennant make his debut as supervillian Zebediah Kilgrave, also known as The Purple Man, in A.K.A Jessica Jones. However, Marvel have today given a first look at what viewers can expect from their new small screen ventures into the Cinematic Universe as their latest production prepares to launch.

Arriving in April, Marvel's Daredevil is the first of four much anticipated Marvel Comics adaptations to be produced as web series exclusively for Netflix. The show stars Charlie Cox as the blind lawyer Matt Murdock who uses his costumed alter ego to take down the criminals that the law cannot touch. Marvel have today released the first full trailer for the thirteen-part series; watch it here:

But while The Purple Man may be an enemy of Daredevil in the comic books universe, don't expect to see David Tennant make an appearance just yet. He's due to join the world of Marvel alongside Krysten Ritter in the second production, Marvel's A.K.A Jessica Jones which is due to follow Daredevil onto Netflix within the next twelve months. This will be followed by Marvel's Iron Fist and Marvel's Luke Cage, leading into a Defenders cross-over miniseries and possibly a movie.
