Get back to where it all began as ITV Encore repeat the first series of the BAFTA-wining crime drama from 9pm GMT tonight. David Tennant and Olivia Colman star as detectives Alec Hardy and Olivia Colman, the mismatched detectives who are thrown together in the search for the killer of a child.
Broadchurch
As the sleepy coastal town of Broadchurch in Dorset prepares for the start of the summer season, eleven-year old Danny Latimer goes missing from home. When reports come in that a body has been found on the beach, the worst fears of his parents Mark and Beth (Andrew Buchan and Jodie Whittaker) are realised. Meanwhile DS Ellie Miller returns from holiday expecting to walk into a promotion only to discover that it has gone instead to the rude and distant Alec Hardy. Not only must Ellie learn to work alongside her prickly new boss, but she has to accept that someone in the town that she loves could be responsible for this horrific act. Before long the investigation starts to turn up long-held secrets, and the increasing scrutiny from the police and the press threatens to tear the community apart.
