SOUTH AFRICA: Broadchurch Season 2 Premieres On M-Net Edge Tonight

The critically acclaimed UK series Broadchurch is back on M-Net in South Africa tonight. The new season premieres on M-Net Edge channel 102 at 19:00.

During the first season of Broadchurch, the tone was set with the death of eleven-year-old Danny Latimer, sending shockwaves through the close-knit community of Broadchurch. The horror got even closer to home when they realised that one of their own was responsible for the murder. The small-town setting and dynamic tension between its lead characters, Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller, drew the audience even further into the story.

In the second season, the focus is shifted toward the broken community trying to deal with the repercussion of season one’s end. Driven by magnificent performances, Broadchurch stars David Tennant as Hardy and Olivia Colman as Miller. Broadchurch has since garnered much acclaim, being nominated for seven BAFTAs in 2014 and winning three, including Best Drama Series.
