Ten Years Of New Who: INTERVIEW David Tennant Talks To Sunday In 2005



Continuing our look back to 2005 in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the relaunch of Doctor Who, we can bring you another of David Tennant's early interviews.

David was announced as the successor to Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor while the first series was airing. During the summer of 2005, while filming his first full episode, The Christmas Invasion, he gave a number of interviews to press about his casting and his hopes for the role. In his chat with Sunday Magazine he reveals his lifelong conviction that he would one day play the Doctor.
