UK PREMIERE: Fright Night Starring David Tennant Airs On BBC Three Tonight

The 2011 movie Fright Night has its UK terrestrial premiere on BBC Three tonight at 10pm GMT. David Tennant stars as dissolute Las Vegas illusionist Peter Vincent in the remake of the 1985 cult film in which a teen discovers that his new neighbour is a vampire. Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, Toni Collette, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Imogen Poots also star. The film was directed by Craig Gillespie with screenplay by Marti Noxon, and produced by Dreamworks.

About the film:
When a new neighbour moves in next door, Charley Brewster's (Anton Yelchin) main worry is that the guy will make moves on his mother (Toni Collette). But Charley's geeky friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) convinces him that Jerry (Colin Farrell), with his blacked-out windows and mysterious night-time digging, is a vampire. People are going missing all over the neighbourhood and it's up to Charley to find out the truth before his mum invites the new neighbour into their house. Unable to convince anyone of what he knows, he turns to self-proclaimed vampire expert Peter Vincent (David Tennant) for advice.
