The ten-part crime drama from the USA, Gracepoint, will be released on Region 2 DVD in the UK later this year. David Tennant reprises his leading role in the FOX TV remake of the UK drama Broadchurch, playing Detective Emmett Carver, the American counterpart of Broadchurch cop DI Alec Hardy. Anna Gunn plays Det. Ellie Miller, with other cast members including Nick Nolte, Kevin Zegers and Jacki Weaver.
GRACEPOINT is a gripping crime series following a tragic and mysterious death in a picturesque seaside town. When a young boy is found dead on an idyllic beach, a major police investigation gets underway in the small California seaside town where the tragedy occurred. Soon deemed a homicide, the case sparks a media frenzy, which throws the boy's family into further turmoil and upends the lives of all of the town's residents.

The DVD set is currently scheduled for release later this year in the UK and can be pre-ordered now (Acorn have informed us that Amazon's listing of the item as the UK version available now is incorrect).

As yet the series has not aired in the UK. However recently ITV stated that it will be broadcast on the Sky-only channel ITV Encore.
