David Tennant's 'We Are Astronomers' Planetarium Show To Play In Edinburgh This Weekend



The digital planetarium show We Are Astronomers, narrated by David Tennant, will be shown at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh this weekend as part of their celebrations for International Astronomy Day. Also showing in the 360° showdome are Astronaut, We are Aliens and Back to the Moon for Good. Along with these virtual trips into space will be family friendly astronomy activities, space themed treasure hunt and a FREE solar system poster for all visitors.

Do you know what an astronomer does? Today’s astronomer is not the lone observer of past centuries. We Are Astronomers reveals the global collaboration, technology and dedication required to answer the unresolved questions of the Universe.

We Are Astronomers narrated by David Tennant is an exciting 360° Fulldome digital planetarium show produced by NSC Creative with input from UK astronomers.

The project is a collaboration between Armagh Planetarium, Centre For Life, INTECH Science Centre & Planetarium, National Space Centre, Our Dynamic Earth, Royal Observatory Greenwich, Spaceport with funding from the Science and Technology Facilities Council.
