New Broadchurch Tourist Trail Launched

A new Broadchurch tourist trail has been launched in time for the summer's visitors to follow in the footsteps of David Tennant and Olivia Colman.
The trail, which has been devised by West Dorset District Council, will allow fans of the ITV drama to visit the settings of the award winning series. It will mostly focus on the Broadchurch scenes set in West Bay, but will also encourage fans to explore more of West Dorset and visit other locations that have featured.

Rachel Symes, West Dorset District Council senior tourism marketing officer told the Dorset Echo: "With over 6 million viewers every week, Broadchurch has provided Dorset with a unique opportunity to showcase the fantastic Jurassic coastline and gain national and international media coverage.

"The series has generated a large amount of interest in the area and this trail provides visitors with all they need to discover the stunning backdrop to the drama.

"We are looking forward to welcoming the cast and crew back for a third series."

The Broadchurch trail is available from all tourist information centre in West Dorset, a selection of local businesses and can be downloaded from www.visit-dorset.com
