USA: July Theatrical Release For What We Did On Our Holiday

The hilarious black comedy from BBC Films, What We Did on Our Holiday, will at last have a theatrical release in the USA on Friday 10th July.

David Tennant and Rosamund Pike star as divorcing couple Doug and Abi McLeod who choose to put their differences aside to travel to Scotland for the birthday of Doug's family Gordie, played by Billy Connolly. Because of Gordie's ill health the couple want to keep their marital difficulties a secret, but can their three lively children stay quiet? However, events take a sudden and unexpected twist meaning that the feuding family need to work together to save what they hold most dear.

The film was written and directed by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin and also stars Ben Miller and Amelia Bullmore with Bobby Smalldridge, Emilia Jones and Harriet Turnbull as the three McLeod chidren.

The film was originally released in the UK on 26th September 2014.
