The ten-part crime drama Gracepoint begins on ITV Encore in the UK tonight at 10pm BST.
The American remake of Broadchurch, the series sees David Tennant reprise his role as lead investigator in the hunt for the killer of a young boy in a small coastal town. This time around the town is Gracepoint, situated in northern California and David's cop is an American by the name of Emmett Carver. He's paired somewhat reluctantly with the local detective, Ellie Miller, played by Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn, whose promotion he usurped. Together the pair must investige the brutal crime in a town where everyone seems to have a secret. Look out too for Nick Nolte (Cape Fear), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Kevin Zegers (Gossip Girl) and Josh Hamilton (American Horror Story: Coven) among the cast.

Gracepoint was developed for FOX TV from the original ITV series Broadchurch by Chris Chibnall, Dan Futterman and Anya Epstein who also executive produced the show. The director for episode 1 is James Strong.
ITV Encore is available exclusively to Sky TV customers on channel 123 and on NOW TV.
