Tickets For New York Run Of Richard II With David Tennant On Sale This Autumn

The Royal Shakespeare Company have announced that tickets for the New York run of Richard II, starring David Tennant in titular role, will go on sale this Autumn.

David will bring his award winning portrayal of Richard II to the Brooklyn Academy of Music in March to April 2016 when the Royal Shakespeare Company stage their King And Country Event. All four History plays – Richard II, Henry IV Parts I & II and Henry V will play in residence as part of the event.

About the play:
Richard is King. A monarch ordained by God to lead his people. But he is also a man of very human weakness. A man whose vanity threatens to divide the great houses of England and drag his people into a dynastic civil war that will last 100 years.

Richard II will also be staged in London in January 2016 - more details about that run can be found here.
