PHOTOS: David Tennant & Catherine Tate At BFI #ThrowbackThursday

Today's Throwback Thursday looks back to September 2013 when David Tennant and Catherine Tate took part in a Q&A session at BFI in London to help celebrate Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary.

The panel was accompanied by a screening of the episodes The Stolen Earth and Journey's End and was attended by episode stars David Tennant and Catherine Tate along with producer Phil Collinson and director Graeme Harper. The event was hosted by Justin Johnson.

The very light-hearted panel talked, among other things, about scheduling the shoot around the very busy diaries of all of the guest cast members, about David Tennant's initial casting in the role of the Doctor, how Catherine Tate was brought back as a full-time companion, the secrecy around the Doctor's apparent 'regeneration' scene and their thoughts on Peter Capaldi's casting as the Twelfth Doctor. You can see a video from the panel here.
