David Tennant's episode of Jake And The Never Land Pirates will be shown for the first time in the UK on Disney Junior at 6.15pm on Tuesday 14th July. David voices the eponymous Dread in a brand new episode, Dread The Evil Genie, which premiered in the USA today.
The popular animated kids' series follows the adventures of tiny pirate Jake, his crew Izzy and Cubby, their parrot Skelly and their many friends. The series is based on characters from Disney's Peter Pan franchise, itself inspired by the classic novel by J.M. Barrie, and Jake and pals are often found competing with Captain Hook and first mate Smee for treasure.
In Dread The Evil Genie, Jake and the gang have to rush to the rescue to Pip the Pirate Genie after the fiendish Dread tries to capture him and drain his magic powers to boost his own. Viewers not only have David Tennant's brilliant voice acting to look forward to - Dread also bursts into song!
Other cast include Colin Ford, Madison Pettis and David Arquette.
Watch Jake And The Never Land Pirates - Dread The Evil Genie on Disney Junior in the UK at 6.15pm BST on Tuesday 14th July. The episode is repeated on Saturday 18th at the same time.
