SWEDEN: Broadchurch Season 2 Episode 2 Airs on TV4 Tonight

Episode 2 of the second season Broadchurch premieres on TV4 at 21.00 in Sweden this evening. David Tennant and Olivia Colman return as detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller in the award-winning UK drama which picks up the story of a small town devasted by the murder of a local boy. The eight part series is airing on Mondays to Thursdays over the next two weeks.

In tonight’s episode the residents of Broadchurch struggle to come to terms with the devastating turn of events in the trial, and shockwaves reverberate through the town. Meanwhile, to further the Sandbrook case, Alec and Ellie plan to bring the Ashworths together, with devastating consequences. The episode also stars Charlotte Rampling, Jodie Whittaker, Eve Myles and James D’Arcy.

Episodes 3 and 4 will premiere on Wednesday and Thursday this week at the same time, and the first four episodes are repeated in a marathon on Sunday night from 23.10. The series continues next week.
