Barbican Film Season - RSC Shakespeare On Screen - Booking For RSC Supporters & Members Opens Today



Booking opens today for RSC members and Supporters for RSC Shakespeare On Screen, a short season of films uncovering highlights from 50 years of Shakespeare in performance.

The season runs during January 2016, to complement the staged King And Country Great Cycle Of Kings at the Barbican Theatre in London. RSC Shakespeare On Screen is curated by John Wyver, the company's Director of Film Productions and the programme of nine specially selected titles includes the 2009 film of Hamlet starring David Tennant and directed by Gregory Doran. Other titles in the programme star Ian McKellern, Peggy Ashcroft, Vanessa Redgrave and David Warner. 

Hamlet screens on January 31st at 2pm.

Booking for Barbican members opens tomorrow from 10am. Public booking opens on Monday 12th October.
